few frequently asked questions
- we hope this information helps you.
1) How close are the condos to Arches
National Park? All five of
our condos - Southgate #1 - Southgate #2 -
Southgate #3 - Southgate #4, Tierra Del Sol #1 are
approximately 10 miles or 10 minutes from
Arches National Park.
2) How close are the condos to the
city limits of Moab? All five
of our condos - Southgate #1 - Southgate #2 - Southgate #3, Southgate #4, Tierra
Del Sol #1 are approximately 5 miles
or 5 minutes from the city limits of Moab.
3) How close are the condos to the Club
House, Pool, and Hot
Tub?
The pool and club house is located on the right
hand side - just as you enter the development off of Highway 191. The distance from
Southgate #1 and Southgate #2 to the pool is approximately 75 yards or 3-4 minutes
walking. The distance from Southgate #3 and Southgate
#4 to the pool is
approximately 125 yards or
4-5 minutes walking.The distance from Tierra Del Sol #1 is
approximately 100 yards or 4-5 minutes
walking. The pool is not heated. Please keep in mind the pool and hot
tub are not open during the winter
months.
4) How close are the condos to Canyonlands
National Park? The drive is about
an hour from the condo to the north section of Canyonlands National Park (AKA Island In The
Sky).
5) How many beds are
there? Southgate #1 and
Southgate #2 have three bedrooms - one bedroom
with a king size bed - one bedroom with a queen size bed and one bedroom with two
twin beds. Downstairs features two small
couches that turn into two small twin size beds. Southgate #3 and Southgate
#4 have three bedrooms - one bedroom with a king size bed - one bedroom with
a king size bed and one bedroom with two full beds. Downstairs features one couch that turns
into one full size bed.Tierra Del Sol #1 has 3 bedrooms - one bedroom
has one king size bed - two bedrooms have a queen size bed - and there are two twin
mattress fold out beds available.
6) Do the condos include a washer and
dryer? All of our condos feature a
washer and dryer - complete with detergent available for your
convenience.
7) Do the condos have a patio and
BBQ? All of our condos include a
patio and propane BBQ.
8)Where do I get the keys
from? Properties
Southgate #1, Southgate #2, Southgage #3, and Southgate #4 feature a keyless
entry system. We will give you a code - and you just press a code on the key pad
located at the frond door. Tierra Del
Sol #1 property has an actual key
to get inside. We will give you a code for the lock box located at the front
door entrance area.
9)Is there a
garage? Yes, all five of our
condos feature a full size two car garage.
10)Do I have to bring towels, sheets, and
kitchen supplies? All of our
condos include sheets, all the linens,
towels, and a fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, and utensils.
11) What do I need to do to check
out? Check out time is 10:30 AM.
Please call Rossana when you check out at 435.260.1755. Turn off lights, load dishes in the dishwasher and press the
start button, and be sure to lock the door when you leave. Check in time is 4:00
PM.
12) Do I need a code for the
internet? All of our condos
feature free wi-fi service and you do not need a special code to connect to the
internet.
13)Who do I call if I have an issue at the
condo? Fortunately we rarely have
any issues - but if you do have a question or concern you are always welcome to call Rossana at
435.260.1755.
14) Do I have to pack a hair
dryer? Southgate #1, Southgate #2,
Southgate #3, and Southgate #4 all feature two hair dryers -
Tierra Del Sol features one hair dryer in
the master bathroom.
15) What if I' am going to arrive late in the
evening? Not a problem - you can
check in anytime after 4:00 PM. If it is dark - careful - the turn off of Highway
191 into the development is not well lit up - look for the KOA
campground sign - the turn comes up
quickly positioned between the KOA Campground and the Spanish Trail
Arena.
16) How do I
pay? All of our condos feature a
online booking system. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. A $200 deposit is
made online at time of booking, and we will send you an email for the balance
to be paid in full at 15 days before arrival.
17) Can I
walk to downtown from the condo?
Well, yes you can, but we would not recommend it. You would be walking on the side of Highway 191, and
that would not be very safe. Also, the distance we feel is to far to walk.
(Maybe 35 minutes to walk to
downtown).
18)Where can I rent
bicycles? We recommend
the Moab Tourism
Center located at 471 S
Main Street #8.
19) Is there a grocery
store? There is a convenience
store (Shell gas station 1-2 minutes drive time from the condo) but most people drive to City Market
located downtown. About 5 minutes away.
20) What is our cancellation
policy? If you give us 30 days or
more notice for cancellation, you will forfeit your $200 down payment. Inside
30 days - you will be subject to additional financial consequences.

21) Is smoking allowed in our
condos? Sorry - We do not
allow smoking in any of our condos.
22) Are pets allowed in our
condos? Sorry - Pets are not
